The board it´s manufactured starting from dry rolled basic fibrous wood elements.

Presents a uniform structure and a fine texture, so allows that both faces and edges have a perfect finish. It´s usually worked in the same way as solid wood, and it´s able for making holes into it and even carve the edges. The dimensional stability, opposite to solid wood , it´s optimal, but it´s weight is very high. Makes up an excellent base for wood layers. It´s perfect to paint or lacquer. You can also use barniz on it. It´s glued (with white glue) easily and without any problems. It´s commercialized in thickness starting from 0.3 mm to 4cm or more. The measurement of the board is 244 x 205. It´s usually brown colour ,and it’s a cheap board.    

It´s recommended to build any type of furniture (functional or artistic) that the weight is not a problem. They´ re a perfect base to lacquer.  Excellent for tables or workbench. It can be used as a canvas for painting , as a base for a scale model, as back board for furniture with drawers and rear of frames, dais to carve and even to make sculptures (sealing several boards to obtain an appropriate thickness). It´s not suitable for outdoor or humid conditions.
