There are different types of plywood, depending on the different type of use, and in function of the type of wood used, the type of glue and the quality of the layers. The construction of all of them, is based in the superposition of plaques or wood layers in the way of grain and glued together. They have to be symmetric in respect to the plaque or central plaques. This alternative disposition of the fibers ( in straight angle) is what it gives a dimensional stability, a high resistance to moving and a non natural way of braking. It also exists the “spin” plywood (the fibers of each layer ,are in the way of grain) and it´s mainly used as replacement of solid wood on the sides of drawers.

The indoor plywood, is a very light board, and it´s not cheap because of its manufacturing process. It´s main uses are for indoor carprentry, back panels, bases of quality drawers, marquetry, sacel models, handicrafts, units, and packing. It can also be used for decorative wall coverings and inside wardrobes.
